01 — VISION
A space where humanity's inner freedom expands.
Che'an — a space where humanity's inner freedom expands.
澈安——人类内在自由得以扩展的空间。
02 — MISSION
Hold space for millions of hearts to be free.
To hold space for millions of hearts to be free — release, heal, and manifest.
为千万颗心守住空间,让他们得以自由——释放、疗愈、并显化生命的丰盛。
03 — BELIEF
We all have a choice.
Che'an does not mean that every circumstance is freely chosen or controllable. It means greater awareness can expand the range of responses a person can perceive and consciously author.
Awaken → Accompany → Enable
The Institute begins by helping people see more clearly. Some expressions may later accompany deeper reflection. Enable is downstream and optional: the person remains the author of what happens next.
Awareness → Choice → Action → Manifestation → Inner Freedom
觉察 → 选择 → 行动 → 显化 → 内在自由
04 — EXPRESSIONS
The Institute is larger than any one doorway.
Research, Journal, Initiatives, Apps, Games and Books are expressions of the mission. None of them is Che'an itself.
05 — FOUNDER
Across worlds. One human pattern.
The lived perspective behind Che'an — not doctrine.

“I have lived inside many different worlds, identities and contradictions — enough to see that beneath them, human beings struggle with remarkably similar things. Che'an came from that recognition.”
Alex's perspective came from two sources: the life he lived, and the lives he was allowed to see up close. Born into a traditional Asian family, he has lived across more than 17 countries in North America, Europe and Asia, moving through very different cultures and social circles while exploring practices rooted in major world religions and spiritual traditions.
His own life crossed scarcity and success; entrepreneur and employee; investing and loss; marriage and divorce; love and betrayal; desire, devotion, collapse and renewal. At the same time, he closely observed how people around him — across countries, cultures and circumstances — struggled, adapted, chose and changed.
Different stories. Recurring forces: fear, conditioning, insecurity, attachment, identity and inherited expectations. Different paths. A recurring direction: see clearly what is shaping us, release what constrains us, choose consciously, live freer.
Che'an turns that lived pattern into disciplined inquiry, reflection and experience — not to prescribe a life, but to expand the freedom to author one.
“A small contribution to humanity. One ripple at a time.”— Alex Tan
